Corporate Helicopters’ Maintenance department prepared two EC130 Helicopters for RoRo Shipping last week from San Diego, California to be shipped to Hawaii.
Each helicopter was flown from Vegas to San Diego, then flown to the shipping terminal. All helicopter blades were disassembled and prepared for RoRo shipping. This process takes over 2 weeks from preparing the helicopters to arrival.
What is RoRo Shipping?
RoRo Shipping is Roll-on Roll-off shipping used globally for large vessel shipments. We use this type of ocean freight transportation to deliver helicopters overseas. If you purchase a helicopter from Corporate Helicopters and need it delivered, this is an option.
