Dogs are important part of Corporate Helicopters' history.
Ivor and Deann Shier have always loved dogs and helicopters. That’s why Corporate Helicopters is dog-friendly.
In this post, we paws to take a look back at some of our favorite friends, both current and past.
Maverick & Sophie
Both camefrom the Golden Retriever Rescue Club of Greater Los Angeles, a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to fining homes for their furry friends.
Both dogs lived long, full and very adventurous lives. They are remembered and missed every day.
Maverick and Sophie were regular staples for Christmas cards and photos.
Maverick’s favorite place was dog beach.
Maverick liked to go to take naps and go to sleep early.
Maverick had his own special Corporate Helicopters hat…
…and his own flight helmet.
Nala
Marci
Einstein
Fox
Lucy
She likes to guard helicopters, her owner’s office, and enjoys greeting passengers. She also likes resting in her easy chair.
Blade
Sadly, blade passed at age 4 from a form of genetic cancer, but he got to live a great life in those years and made a lot of people happy in his short life.
Louie
Louie is still deciding if he wants to work with Osama in the busy maintenance department…
…or just be a company greeter from the couch. Stay tuned for the adventures of Louie.
As you can tell, Corporate Helicopters loves dogs.
We urge fellow dog and helicopter lovers to consider supporting the two canine charitable organizations below.
- Shelter to Soldier – This San Diego-based charity that adopts dogs from local shelters and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or other psychological injuries associated with traumatic service experiences.
- The Humane Society
