When helicopters are purchased somewhat locally, the buyer can simply fly them to their new home. With international buyers, getting the helicopter there is often more of a challenge.
Not only does it require expertise to load the helicopter in the shipping container, but there are a number of steps required for internal packaging protection – to protect the helicopter not only from moving, as well as any shock and vibration that may happen during transit.
