On July 6, Fitzroy proposed to Nicole outside Corporate Helicopters before their Unforgettable helicopter tour over San Diego.
While in flight, Pastor Ronald Boiling officiated their wedding ceremony.
Pilot Garner Shepard left on May 1, 2013 to start a LiDAR Mission for the Towill, Inc. His mission began over power lines that spanned from California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming before reaching South Dakota.
The 2013 Season Finale of Criminal Minds recently aired on CBS and we are excited to announce SAG Pilot, Ivor Shier was a part of the action!
Aerial filming at night included working along with actors on landings and take offs, air-to-air sequences, and landing on a private ranch where they simulated a crash.
On May 4th, 2013, The Girl Scouts of San Diego hosted the 12th Annual Operation Thin Mint® Sendoff Celebration aboard the USS Midway Museum to celebrate sending 180,968 boxes of donated Girl Scout cookies to deployed U.S. military troops.
Corporate Helicopters joined in on the fun by flying two Astars full of the top cookie sellers of the year onto the Midway.
Roy Thomasson’s first airplane logbook entry was in 1945 at the end of WWII.
Roy had never flown in a helicopter, so he decided to take an introductory flight lesson with Tara Sturm, CFII for his 94th birthday celebration!
We would like to congratulate Marshall Jordan on passing his check ride and becoming a Commercial Helicopter Pilot! Marshall has already begun his instrument training and is focused on becoming a CFI and CFII.

Congratulations to Elliot Block on being Corporate Helicopters newest recipient of a Private Pilots License. Elliot has been training with us for just over a year. During that time, he was enrolled part time as he was also a full time student at Torrey Pines High School.
Rajiv Khatri utilized Corporate Helicopters to create a unique and very special marriage proposal for his girlfriend Hetal. Flying a customized tour along the coastline where Hetal works, pilot Peter Clark joined in formation with an airplane towing a banner reading, “Hetal, will you marry me?”

Eighteen pilots from various police organizations began their re-currency training in our Bell 206 JetRanger this month.
